:) recently I placed an order with Dutyfreeking of three blocks Marlboro double Mix. After placing the order they informed me to the UK they ship max two blocks in a single parcel. I agreed to reduce the order what was ok for me. Looks they try to keep the shipping save. Payment I had to do over some payment service where I signed up for an account and pay by credit card. I received my cigs after around 25 days via RoyalMail. In the beginning, I was a bit concerned after I read your reviews about Dutyfreeking here but for me, the order worked out.

Great to hear that these online stores sometimes do get it right, and deliver their goods.

I havent heard back from natasha above, and its been 30 days, so Im wondering whats going on with JT.

Hi there. As a resident in Canada, the past eight weeks have seen several cigarette brands no longer available, of note, super slim cigarettes. In researching on-line tobacco stores, I came across this forum. The categorization of on-line sellers as well as forum member feedback is awesome. I've reviewed the safe list and do not see any shipping to Canada.

My question goes out to any forum members who've purchased cigarettes for shipping to Canadian addresses - has anyone purchased through canadacigarettes.org? If not, what on-line cigarette stores have you successfully used?

Thanks for the tip of CanadaCigarettes.org. Dont be fooled by domain names. Many have .co.uk but are not based in the UK. CanadaCigs are actually based in Minsk in the Ukraine, but are registered in Hong Kong due to an international trade tax loophole. You can find a description of their web sites by looking for CigOutlet listed under suspicious.

Hi Dan,

Very sorry about the delay. I have to confess I took a "detour". I actually ordered from a different site, but got scammed. A very big ouch. I just haven't had it in me to even think about ordering online again.

Before finalizing an order with JTExpress, I found a site called cigmania.com. Supposedly it was located in the U.S. and offered non-FSC cigarettes (Marlboro). The site actually looked better than most and they answered inquiries immediately. I also found a few positive reviews online. Well, I wasn't 100% confident but still took the plunge, since I wasn’t completely sure about any site or foreign products anyway. Not only was Cigmania.com’s product just what I wanted, it also seemed less risky due to a lower minimum order requirement and being in the U.S. (supposedly). Anyway, they disappeared soon after I paid them directly, and that was that. Couldn't believe it. You won't be able to find them now - everything was deleted, from their email addresses to the site itself. There were a few small red flags but, since they did seem better in general, i ignored these little deficiencies. From everything I had seen, none of the other sites seemed high quality either, so I had assumed this was simply due to the type of business. I obviously had the misfortune of finding these guys just at the “wrong” time – just before they disappeared. (I reported them on scamadviser.com, giving the worst rating and review and, strangely, right afterwards their score went up to 95% from the 83% rating it had been previously. Perhaps scamadviser is also a scam.)

So that’s the story and thanks much for your interest. Maybe they belong on both your “Not Safe” list (if they pop up again) and your “Taken Down” list, but as the Master List Maker, you know best! Thanks again.

Hi. I had been thinking about you, so thanks for the feedback. If you take a short cut to our safe list, I cant really help, as if they are not years old by now, they have no rep to speak of. If you notice any further web sites not from our list, feel free to ask, and I'll investigate them before you buy.

A general rule of thumb is to always pay by credit card, or at least paypal, so you have some kind of fraud protection, and can claim your money back. New web sites pop up each day, and all look like fresh lollypops, but if they ask for a non-secure payment, you risk everything. Im not too concerned about adding another dead web site to the list, so thats just another lesson learned I guess. It wouldnt surprise me if scam-ad-visor was a scam, as most of those community feedback sites are themselves full of adverts and such.

Hi
fagsandtobacco (& previously tobaccoonline)
I've used these companies successfully over the years.
This year (2019) problems.
Order placed in May - only 1st part delivered.
Order placed in July - nothing delivered.
Have chased both orders at regular intervals - both by email & phone - no reply.
Have they gone bust? Have they turned into scammers?
Anyone know anything?

Hi Dan - yes, I was an idiot and this was obviously the result of my wishful thinking. Again, the website seemed better than most and the product was exactly what I wanted. I didn’t want to spend any more time searching, dealing with questionable international orders/shipments, or trying different-tasting foreign cigarettes. It was great to supposedly find what I was looking for and be done with all that. Dummy!

I could try to report them in other places besides scamadviser but, since they’re gone, I’m not sure what the point would be. They were registered as being in the U.S. on godaddy.com. Perhaps I’ll let godaddy know.

Anyway, thanks for all your input. I’m glad at least I can be an example to others, here on your website.

No problem. At least there is a small corner of the web where you can chat and find the truth, as there is precious little online otherwise. I started the list when I first hear the rumour they were banning menthol cigs, and that was a few years ago now. They are banning them in April next year, so Im going to be out of smokes I like for the rest of life. How sad.

As a general rule, it is illegal to sell duty-fee or similar discount cigs from within the USA. As soon as the FDA hear of any, they shut them down instantly, so thats why you see cheap Marlboros made in Eastern Europe or the Far East. Anything which looks too good to be true, it is.

what does quantity exactly mean? if i buy 1:quantity is that 10 packs/a carton?
and what is some websites you use Dan, that actually deliver as promised?

Post by Dan on Mar 8, 2020 at 4:21pm
Quantity is normally Sleeve/Carton/X10 Packs/200 Cigs. If you were buying single packs, the price would be less the $5 each.

I dont buy from any online seller anymore, as I was never happy with the pressured re-ordering, the lost or confiscated orders, or the quality of the products. If they are going to sell me cheap European cigs at duty free prices, I realised it was cheaper to fly to Europe and get them duty free myself, faster, and legal. If you book flights months in advance, its possible to get flights as low as £38-£55 for the round trip, which is almost postage costs for a shipment.

Flights are very cheap right now. And i'm from europe myself, what countries are you talking about/you fly to?
I was thinking albania, and maybe turkey.
Also i think i read many places that u can max, take 1-2 cartons with you.
Also read the scanner can detect ciggarettes. Just dont feel like it's worth flying if i can't get more than 1 or 2 cartons.

Unsure if I should order from www.cigs-depot.com. They have the brand I want, however, I cannot make out where the company is based or if they are a real company. Any advice?

Post by Dan on May 5, 2020 at 3:00pm
I would not trust cigs-depot. I had a quick browse of their web site and it looks like a clone of so many other fake sites. I couldnt get any further info.

Thank you Dan, I won't be ordering there.

Hi, I'm in UK and am a menthol smoker, prices here are around £10 for 20 cigarettes and they don't sell the kinds I like. I ordered from www.dutchtobacconist.nl where I got them for £5 a pack and were delivered within 3 days which surprised me, especially with lockdown. My question is are there any sites I could get them shipped to UK for cheaper? Non EU prices are way better but have been scammed on the past. I did order from JT express and they said they were dispatched but that was a week ago so not convinced that they wont arrive but wondered if there were other options

Post by Dan on May 7, 2020 at 9:49pm
Reputable vendors like dutchtobacconist offer the best quality product and price. If you go for cheaper non-EU vendors then you get the lowest quality goods and cheap prices, but less guarantees. JT Express deliver between 3-4 weeks usually, as they ship from the other side of the world. I would say anything delivered at this stage in history is a bonus, as for one thing, after the 20th of May, you will no longer be able to legally import menthols, as far as I know, as they will be a banned substance.

Thats why I went for the pop-capsule route, which works out far cheaper and has more flavours but can be a bit harsher to smoke. See the thread on click bead capsules for more info. They cant ban those.

Hey Dan

I want to order cigarettes online but can't find trusted website that can ship to Saudi Arabia, please advise?

Post by Dan on May 14, 2020 at 2:37pm
Hi,

I havent had much experience with Middle Eastern shops. You can buy single packs from MECollectables here:
mecollectibles.com/en/13-cigarette-packs

There is also Choithrams, who will deliver to UAE, Oman, Bahrain and Qatar. You can pay by card, they can also deliver.
www.choithrams.com/en/shop/catalogue/ca ... acco_2521/

Let us know if you order from any of these. If they arrive I might add them to the list on page 1.

So, firstly thanks for the advice on the beads. I hadn't heard of them so put in an order for some yesterday. Second, my order from JT express has cleared customs and will be with me today or tomorrow so I have ordered again from them as they worked out around £160 for 600 delivered, and also have a friend from Austria sending me some click menthols over too. Fingers crossed that does me until I can go globe trotting again and buy my own.
One more thing, I know the canaries are not EU but does anyone know if they're likely to stop selling menthol too? Maybe they will be harder to get or something.

Post by Dan on May 19, 2020 at 3:23pm
£160 for 600 is great value indeed! Which brand did you buy from JT Express?

The capsules have a bit of a plasticy taste sometimes, perhaps due to them being stored in plastic containers. Mine are in press-together baggies which is perhaps not much better, so glass bottles are perhaps best. The beads work with even the cheapest cigs, so they are really cheap and worth it, but because you have to make a small hole in the filter, its easy to take an extra deep inhale and give yourself a sore throat. An alternative is to insert the beads from the side.

No idea about the Canary Islands, as its outside the EU I think you are limited to when you can bring back, perhaps 3 or 4 sleeves? Best to check travel agents for this info.

Hi, like your forum gives a lot of valuable content in a niche that is by most avoided or discriminate. Just like to share my last experience of my second online order from Dutyfreeking.co where I received my Marlboro Double Mix to the Uk in good order. The packing is looking like a book that makes it quite smart looking. The quality of the Tobacco was good. Seems to be quite fresh. I had to pay by Bank Transfer in GBP. Hope you keep going this forum. Cheers

Thanks. Yes you still have to be careful, as its so easy to be spammed by people using the ProtonVPN UK server, who say that web sites on the Unsafe list are in fact totally fine. I would say that such people need to a) speak correct English, and b) dont use a VPN proxy to post comments. Oh, and c) at least sign up as a member of the forum, so I can ban your I.P. ;)

Received Marlboro Double Mix from Dutyfreeking to London. Actually I ordered four blocks but they sent me only two blocks with the explanation the shipping is limited due to limited air cargo traffic at the moment. The balance amount they transfer back to my Bank account.

Yes much improved! But you are still using the same proxy/server from Leaseweb Uk Limited - which proves that your post, as well as your previous one are Spam.
If there is a third post I'll remove them all, and move duty freeking to the top of the ban list.
