Smoking is Cool Again, Say Magazines
The focus of magazines is often to entertain us, and also to expand our horizons. What is largely fashionable is uncool, and what is very select is cool. Smoking hasnt really featured in magazines for a while, not since the 1980s when Madonna famously posted on the cover of Rolling Stone with a cigar in her mouth. But as the universal appreciation and love of smoking worldwide is heading towards decline, magazines have cottoned on to the fact that this select market is actually cool again. The number of times smoking appears in magazines is on the rise, simply because half of the world are trying to stamp it out. Celebs, models, and rebels love to smoke, as it instantly gives their character style and risqué appeal.
